THE BOOK SOCIETY
Tucked under a semi-basement in the area of Jongno-gu, The Book Society is an independent bookstore specialised in art and design. The aim is to introduce genres and foreign titles that has a low accessibility in Korea.
Using a unifying colour palette of the city - yellow, the aim was to bring furniture of different age, feel and condition together into the new space. Some section of the books were deliberately informally stacked for customers to discover - encountering something unexpected.
